    FOUNDER, ATTORNEY AT LAW

Hi, my name is Michele Leonelli, founder of Studio Leonelli. I am half-Italian, half-Australian (born in Perth) and I’ve been living in the U.S.A since I was 14. I graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis and then cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center. I started my legal career at the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins where I practiced for several years before going in-house as General Counsel and Vice President of Noveon Magnetics (formerly Urban Mining Company). After 4 years with Noveon I took some time to do a most Australian thing and go walkabout. This brought me back to the U.S.A where I spent 4 years growing a corporate practice with a boutique firm called Phocus Law.

I like being a lawyer because I like helping people. I started Studio Leonelli because I want the best platform for doing that, and because I believe that you can be a good lawyer that people enjoy working with. I like helping foreign companies set up and scale in America, demystifying what it means to have a crack in the U.S.A. I like helping people buy and sell companies; hearing them describe their plans for the future or describe the beach they want to sit on in retirement. I like helping people draft and negotiate contracts, learning about their business and the terms that really matter to them. I like setting up new companies for people and being there to help them grow. At Studio Leonelli, we’ve built, and continue to build a team to make these outcomes possible.

    Let’s get to work!
